This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from brand strategy and identity development to signage, wayfinding, digital activations, and large-scale hospitality and retail projects. No two days are the same, and you’ll thrive on the challenge of managing dynamic, fast-paced accounts while ensuring exceptional outcomes for clients.
We are looking for a Midweight to Senior Account Manager who can take ownership of client relationships, strategic planning, and project execution. You’ll be the key liaison between clients and our internal team, ensuring seamless communication, meeting deadlines, and driving results. You’ll have excellent organisation, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to oversee and guide project teams while maintaining strong relationships with clients.
To be successful in this role, you need to…
Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
Have the right to live and work in Australia (preferably based in Melbourne).
Have at least 5 years of experience in an account management role, preferably within a branding, design, or creative agency.
Be an outgoing go-getter with an exciting personality, eager to build relationships and create meaningful connections.
Be proactive and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
Have a strong understanding of branding, marketing, and design, particularly in the hospitality, F&B, retail, or commercial property sectors.
Have excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a hybrid (office/remote) work environment.
Be a strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client success.
Have a keen eye for detail, ensuring projects align with client expectations and brand standards.
Demonstrate proficiency in project management tools and be comfortable working with creative and production teams.
Be confident in leading client meetings and presentations, with the ability to provide strategic recommendations and articulate creative concepts.
Have strong analytical skills, able to assess market trends, pricing strategies, and opportunities for business growth.
Be able to collaborate with internal teams (designers, strategists, and directors) to ensure smooth project execution.
Have excellent communication skills in English, knowing how to ask the right questions, handle client feedback, and present ideas persuasively.
Be skilled in negotiation and client relationship management, ensuring that projects stay within scope, budget, and timeline.
Be willing to assist in the development and growth of a new sub-brand, taking ownership of new initiatives and working collaboratively to establish and scale it.
Have a mentorship mindset, willing to guide and train junior team members.
Have a fantastic attitude, and hopefully—a love for great design, branding, and hospitality!
